Your November Lessons
Four done-for-you Kids Yoga & SEL lessons, ready to teach!
Each week builds intentionally on the one before it, helping children notice what they appreciate, express gratitude, turn appreciation into kindness, and practice letting go with greater awareness.
No piecing together activities or starting from scratch.
Just open your lesson and teach. 💗
Children explore what gratitude means and begin discovering the people, places, experiences and everyday moments they appreciate.
Through movement, mindfulness and reflection, students practice slowing down enough to notice the good that's already around them — building the foundation for a meaningful gratitude practice.
Week 1: Finding Gratitude
Gratitude begins with noticing.
Children move from noticing appreciation to exploring ways they can communicate it through their words, actions and connection with others.
Through yoga, mindfulness and SEL reflection, students discover that gratitude isn't only something we feel inside — it's something we can share.
Week 2: Showing Gratitude
When we feel gratitude, we can express it.
Week 3: Giving Gratitude
Gratitude can grow into kindness.
Children explore how appreciation can inspire thoughtful choices, generosity and meaningful action toward others.
Through movement, connection and reflection, students practice turning “I'm grateful” into “What can I give?” — discovering how even small acts of kindness can make a difference.
Week 4: Letting Go with Gratitude
We can appreciate what we've experienced — and still let go.
Children bring the month's learning together by exploring how gratitude can help us reflect on experiences, carry forward what we've learned and release what we no longer need to hold onto.
Through mindful movement and reflection, students practice making space for growth without ignoring or pushing away their feelings.
Print & Prep Once
Then reach for these resources all month long.
The lessons are only the beginning.
Your October membership includes ready-to-use visuals and teaching tools designed to reinforce the same language and skills throughout the month.
Classroom Visuals
Bring the month's learning into your everyday space.
Print and display these visuals in your classroom, Calm Down Corner, counseling space, studio, or movement room so students can return to the month's strategies even when the lesson is over.
Simply print, display, practice, & repeat!
This Month's Yoga Card Deck
This or THAT Yoga:
Autumn Yoga & Mindfulness Cards
Turn focus and balance into something children can actually practice.
Print, cut, and laminate your cards once, then use them throughout the month during lessons, transitions, movement breaks, centers, or anytime your students need a playful way to practice returning their attention.
Print, cut, laminate, & teach!
This Month's Calming Creation™
Magical Mindfulness Potion 💗
A hands-on SEL Make & Take that extends the learning beyond the yoga mat.
Students create their own Magical Mindfulness Potions while practicing the same skills they've been building all month:
NOTICE → CHOOSE → BEGIN
Your complete kit includes the printable project, teacher guide, visual directions, reflection activity, and everything you need to bring it to life with your group!
Materials list & step-by-step teaching guide included.
Assessment & Curriculum Alignment
See the learning behind the movement.
Teach Smarter™ isn't about doing yoga poses for the sake of doing yoga poses.
Every month is intentionally designed around skills children can practice, apply, and carry into their everyday lives.
Use your November Assessment & Curriculum Alignment Guide to observe student learning, document growth, and understand how I Am Grateful connects to social-emotional learning and explicit skill instruction.
Celebrate Their Growth 💗
November Student Certificates
A month of learning deserves to be celebrated!

Your Monthly Coaching Call
You don't have to figure it all out alone.
Once a month, we come together to talk about the work behind the lessons — what's working, what's challenging, what you're noticing with your students, and what you want support with next.
Bring your questions, ideas, wins, and real-life teaching moments.
This is your space to learn, connect, and grow alongside educators doing this work too.
Join us Thursday, November 19⋅12:00 – 12:30pm

Our Teach Smarter™ Community 💗
Because teaching is better when we don't have to do it alone.
Our private community is where Teach Smarter™ comes alive between monthly calls.
Share what worked. Ask a question. Show us what your students created. Swap ideas. Celebrate a win. Or simply connect with other educators who believe movement, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning belong in children's lives.
I'm there too — supporting you, answering questions, and learning alongside you.
Please keep posts encouraging, respectful, and student-focused. This is a supportive space for all of us.
Before You Go...
Reminder: You don't have to use everything.
Seriously. 💗
Teach Smarter™ isn't here to give you one more giant folder of resources you feel like you should get through.
It's here to make teaching easier!
Use the lesson exactly as written. Pull out one activity. Print the visual your students need. Repeat a favorite game. Adapt something for your group.
You know your students best.
I've done the planning so you have more time and energy to do what only you can do:
Notice them, connect with them, teach them!
And when you're ready for something else, everything will be right here.
Need a hand?
I'm here 💗
Whether you have a question about a lesson, need help finding a resource, or want to talk through an idea for your students, you're always welcome to reach out.
