Gentle Beginnings for Growing Minds & Bodies

Mindful Movement Littles™ is a playful yoga and mindfulness program created especially for toddlers and preschoolers ages 2–5. Through imagination, music, movement, and calming activities, young children begin building confidence, emotional awareness, and body regulation skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Serving families in New Brighton, Roseville, White Bear Lake, and surrounding Twin Cities communities.

Why Start Mindfulness Early?

Early childhood is when children first learn how to understand emotions, follow routines, and feel confident participating in group experiences. Mindful Movement Littles™ introduces foundational self-regulation skills through joyful movement and play, helping children feel successful while learning how to calm their bodies and focus their attention.

Families often join when children are:

  • experiencing big emotions or transitions

  • building early social confidence

  • developing coordination and body awareness

  • benefiting from calm, structured activities

What Littles Experience

Each session is designed around age-appropriate learning and playful exploration:

No prior experience is needed — curiosity and imagination are encouraged.

Programs are designed by licensed teacher Tara Willits using trauma-informed, child-centered teaching practices.

A Gentle First Class Experience

Mindful Movement Littles™ is often a child’s first structured activity outside preschool or daycare. Classes move at a developmentally appropriate pace so children feel comfortable while caregivers feel confident and supported.

(Some sessions may include caregiver participation depending on age group.)

Many families begin with Mindful Movement Littles™ and continue through our age-progression programs:

This pathway allows children to build emotional wellness skills year after year.
